and was parked outside the Hollywood hotel where she died, sold for $1.76 million \u2014 more than $1.3 million more than expected \u2014 at an auction in New York City Thursday night.<\/p>\n<p>The iconic 1965 Porsche 356C 1600 Cabriolet, which the Texas-born rock star purchased in 1968 and had it painted with a &#8220;kaleidoscope mural,&#8221;
