The condition means he hears voices, but it only began after he started taking LSD, also known as acid.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLSD made me more creative,\u201d he admitted to Esquire magazine. \u201cIt helped me write (Beach Boys\u2019 iconic 1966 album) Pet Sounds. But the voices started after LSD, too.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>These voices still haunt Brian, but not all the time. However he admits he often struggles with the things they say to him.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey say different things,\u201d he added. \u201cLike \u2018we\u2019re going to hurt you\u2019. It\u2019s crazy! But not all the time, yeah.
