The posts are about 4 feet tall and strong enough to stop a flatbed truck traveling 55 mph, the county has said.<\/p>\n<p>Construction is expected to take about 60 days, Kulin said. The county has entered a $3.9 million contract with Unicon LLC to install the bollards.<\/p>\n<p>Workers began placing bollards along the Strip in October, and some 840 posts are already standing.<\/p>\n<p>Kulin said another 3,800 bollards could be installed before the end of February.<br \/>\n*<br \/>\n <script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script>\r\n<!-- LVBC BLOG RESPONSIVE -->\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-3305383693358973\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"8378569513\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"auto\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p>Concrete barriers will be temporarily placed in some areas that were planned to have bollards, Kulin said.
