THE FEBRUARY \u201cSUPER SNOW\u201d\u00a0MOON<\/h3>\n

February\u2019s full Moon peaks on\u00a0Tuesday, February 19, at 10:53\u00a0A.M.<\/span>EST<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0(15:53\u00a0UTC<\/span>)<\/strong>, but will appear full the night before and after its peak to the casual\u00a0stargazer.<\/p>\n

It\u00a0will also be a so-called \u201csupermoon,\u201d which means the Moon is at its closest point in its orbit to\u00a0Earth.<\/p>\n

In fact, the February\u2019s full Moon is the\u00a0nearest, largest, and brightest full Moon of the year<\/strong>!\u00a0 Technically, it\u2019s the second of three supermoons\u00a0to occur in 2019 (January, February,\u00a0March).<\/p>\n
