The Four Queens on Fremont street
in downtown Las Vegas has a more intimate feel than some of the
larger hotels on the strip. The hot vibe of The Fremont Street
Experience is
just yards away from the gaming tables and machines. This is a great
casino to "hunker in for a night of gambling." |
|
"Adjacent to The Golden Nugget
Hotel in the heart of Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas" the Four
Queens has been in business since 1966. The Four Queens has:
690 hotel rooms, approx. 32,000 square feet of casino space, three
full-service restaurants, cocktail lounges, a gift shop and more." |
|
"The 690-room Four Queens Hotel
and Casino has been a fixture of Downtown since it opened to the public in
1966, and is named in honor of the builder’s four daughters. Offering a
wide array of games including some of the best video poker downtown, the
Four Queens is a value-oriented property offering clean, comfortable
accommodations for a good price as well as games that give the player a
good gamble for their money." - RateVegas.Com |

A Note from the Editor: |
Back in the 90s, The Four Queens were
flirting with a Native American Tribe to open a Tribal Casino in Palm
springs, here's an article from 1993. |

"Newport Firm Enters Pact for Casino Near Palm Springs" |
1993 |
"A Las Vegas casino operator said Monday
that it has signed an agreement with a Newport Beach company to build a
casino on Indian land near Palm Springs. Elsinore Corp., which operates
the Four Queens Casino in downtown Las Vegas, will own 85% of the venture
in conjunction with the Native American Casino Corp., a group of about two
dozen investors in Newport Beach. The casino would be on 55 acres of the
Twenty-nine Palms tribal reservation at Interstate 10 and California 60." |
|
Well, it didn't exactly work out as planned. I, for one, lost investment
money. |
|
An unnamed - now deceased - casino (unnamed) worker was verbally promoting
the deal, I invested ... and lost most of the investment, just saying ... |

Mike Hammer
"You may have seen
other magicians, but Hammer gives it the extra dimension." LAS VEGAS
REVIEW JOURNAL
When Hammer hits the stage you know you're in for a ride. He is a master
of cutting wit and non-stop improvisation--every show an original.
Hammer's rapid-fire performance includes an awesome display of mind
reading, the swallowing of double-edged razor blades, gags, pranks and
general mayhem. BEWARE! Every show is loaded with 100% audience
participation. Nobody is safe. It's time to Get Hammer'd. The show runs
about 70 minutes.
Recommended Age: Over 13 (no foul language). |
