| The Gold Strike Hotel and Casino is in
Jean, Nevada which is about 25 miles down (South) I-15. This used to
be the first gambling stop (from I-15-California,) then Primm opened just
across the state line. There are only two Hotels in Jean. There are
a couple of gas stations etc. |

The good news is that the room rates are
about half of what you might pay in Las Vegas. |
|
| The Hotel has restaurants, fast
food outlets, swimming pool and access to all of the other stuff at the
Hotel across the street. |
|
| Although the Hotel is showing wear and
tear, it seems to be safe and secure (OK for families.) Imagine
pickup trucks, good 'ol boys shooting craps after work and Miss
Kitty at the bar. |
| The Gold Strike Hotel is a MGM Resorts
International property. |
